Inside commercial ice making machines is an ideal environment for the
growth and proliferation of micro organisms. Being dark and damp, it
does not take long for biomass (slime) to develop to the extent that it
can easily contaminate the ice product from the machine. The IceZone 10 from Biozone is a air purifier
that is designed to be fitted to the outside of the icemaker with a
tube connected to the evaporator cabinet. The unit delivers ultra pure
air into the cabinet rich in OH, O and O3 molecules and negative ions.
These spread within the confines of the ice maker killing micro
organisms and inhibiting the growth of biomass slime. This ensures that
the ice maker is kept clean internally and reduces cleaning of the
machine to external surfaces, saving vast amounts of time. Maintenance of the IceZone 10 is easy. The end caps can be unscrewed and then a locking screw removed, which enables the internal components to simply slide out. The UV bulb can then be easily cleaned with a soft cloth and spirit, or replaced if required before sliding the internals back into the hull of the units and refitting the end caps. IceZone eliminates the growth of mould and slime, kills and signifficantly reduces bacteria, and provides continous, consistant cleaning 24 hours a day. |
