The Biozone Aircare range addresses the common problems found in washrooms:

Air is drawn into the unit and through an air purification chamber where it is exposed to intense levels of germicidal ultraviolet light for the destruction of organics. These powerful wavelengths also energise the gaseous contents in the air producing a purifying plasma that destroys bacteria, viruses, fungi, VOCs and other organics as well as neutralising unpleasant odours in the air. The ultra purified air is then passed out of the unit and into the room carrying with it purifying plasma that circulates within the room destroying harmful pollutants.

Current solutions do not address the root problem

• Toleration. A mere toleration of odours and bacteria ignores the root problem – harmful micro-organisms
• Ventilation. Even a well ventilated facility will do little to fight bacteria and other odour causing micro-organisms
• Traditional Cleaning Methods (Chemicals). Everyday mopping and disinfection does not remove bacteria and odours that accumulate at plate joints
• Fragrances. Merely covering up odours with fragrances is ineffective and does not remove odour-causing bacteria

Bacteria counts are known to quadruple every 12 to 20 minutes yet tests conducted by University College Dublin showed a 70% reduction in the micro-organism count after the Biozone equipment was installed. This reduced level was maintained for the 48 hour period of the test.
